1st Stockhorse Show he attended - he won 4yr old Maturity overall, gaining first hack section, first Utility section and a Second in the working section. He also won Novice Working Horse.
Purchased at 14 months old in partnership with friends Don and Cheryl Bowles. Broken in when we bought him, so we turned him out for 8 months. He was brought back in and given steady riding around the farm, then sent to a cutting trainer to learn some basic skills and be started on cattle.
After this we started heading him in the direction we intended - Stock Horse Shows and age events. Being trained and competed by Erin, his exceptional nature and athletic ability, has allowed him immeadiate success in the show ring.
At Guyra Stock Horse Show, his first outing, he won the 4 yr old Maturity, Novice Working and his Led class, also receiving a third in the Novice Hack. Emby will be continually shown throughout the coming year, we also hope to start him in local campdrafts, with Don Bowles as jockey. Emby's first foals will arrive later this year.
